GENERAL CONTEST TERMS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPIPATION IN PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

1. Eligibility for participation in any given Contest is extended to any natural person who has reached the age of 18, is a permanent resident of Greece, and possesses full legal capacity. Employees of the Organizer, their spouses, as well as their relatives up to the first and second degree of consanguinity or affinity, are excluded from participation.
2. To participate in the Contest, the entrant must read and accept these terms and conditions of participation, fill in their electronic mail address (email) in the designated Contest form available on the Organizer's website (the Website), and submit it electronically, thereby entering the Contest. By ticking (clicking) the relevant box, participants declare unreservedly that they have read and accepted the Contest terms. Each Contest shall be initiated by posting the relevant announcement (post) on the Website, where more specific information regarding the Contest, as well as any specific terms of participation, shall be published. The Contest and the specific procedure for participation therein may also be announced via the respective broadcast. The Contest may also be conducted through social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook) and/or via the use of applications such as Viber, WhatsApp, Messenger, etc. In such event, it is a necessary prerequisite for participation that the entrant holds a personal account or has activated the respective application, and consequently, has accepted the registration terms, privacy, and security policies, and has waived any claim against the respective platform in connection with the Contest. The Organizer determines the duration of the Contest, namely the time period within which entries are accepted. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, restrict, or extend the duration of the Contest. Any such modification shall be automatically effective upon its publication.
3. Only one entry per person shall be deemed valid, provided that a valid email address and/or mobile phone number has been registered (depending on the contest procedure) and submitted by the deadline specified for the submission of entries in the respective Contest and the corresponding draw. In the event that the same person has entered the Contest more than once (1), only their chronologically most recent entry shall be deemed valid. Entries submitted after the expiration of the respective Contest or those that are not fully or correctly completed shall not be taken into account.
4. Entries shall be deemed valid provided they are submitted within the time limits of the Contest and do not offend public decency and morality, do not contain content offensive to honor and dignity, and do not contain abusive, inflammatory, racist content, or content that violates human dignity or creates discrimination against individuals on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion or other beliefs, disability, age, or sexual orientation, or otherwise violate applicable provisions or are in any other way inappropriate. Requests for participation submitted after the expiration of the initial and/or shortened and/or extended deadline for participation in each Contest shall be automatically deemed null, void, and ineffective against anyone, and shall not create any right whatsoever in favor of the participant.
5. Participation in the Contest does not require the participants to risk any monetary amount in any manner for profit.
6. The prize(s) of each Contest are specific (as announced on the Contest page) and are personal, non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-replaceable with other items, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other consideration. The prize may also be monetary. Any fees, taxes, and charges for the awarding of the prize shall be borne by the winners.
7. Winners shall be notified via the email address declared upon their entry into the Contest regarding the procedure for claiming their prize.
8. The liability of the Organizer is limited solely to the provision of the prize through the aforementioned procedure. The Organizer does not bear or assume any other obligation or liability toward the participants or any third party for any reason whatsoever. The Organizer shall bear no liability when, due to reasons attributable to an event outside its sphere of influence or constituting force majeure, it is unable to fulfill its obligations arising from these terms, and shall be released from its obligations free of any liability.
9. The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revoke the Contest, modify its terms, shorten or extend its duration, postpone it, as well as postpone or alter the date of the draw, following a relevant announcement posted on the Website.
10. Participation in the Contest presupposes that interested parties have access to the internet by their own technical means. The Organizer assumes no obligation regarding securing or assisting access to internet venues or providing facilities to any interested party. Access to the Contest website is permitted only under the operating terms of the respective server and its technical and other prerequisites and specifications. Furthermore, the Organizer shall not be held liable for any charge imposed on the participating users due to the aforementioned causes. Moreover, the Organizer is not liable for any malfunction, breakdown, or interruption of the telecommunications network, the server, or other services or applications required for the execution of the Contest, which may result in the temporary or permanent interruption of the Contest or the failure of certain participants to enter.
11. Participation of any person in the Contest constitutes their unreserved consent to the use by the Organizer of each participant's personal data (e.g., identity and contact details, voice, audio material, image, video) declared/registered in order to participate in the Contest. The Organizer may use the names of the winners, as well as any other personal data collected for the purpose of participating in the contest (e.g., voice, audio material, photographs, videos) on its website, its social media accounts, and/or in any print and electronic media (print and electronic press, radio, television), within the framework of any other promotional activity related to the Contest and for the announcement of the Contest results. The Data Controller of the filing system to be established (the data are gathered in a single database) is the Organizer. As aforementioned, the establishment of the filing system aims at the conduct of the Contest, the advertising and promotional communication thereof, the potential execution of the draw to determine the winners of the Contest, as well as the promotion of the Organizer's products through the sending of newsletters and promotional messages; the Organizer shall proceed with the sending of newsletters and promotional electronic mail messages provided that the participant has specifically declared their consent and the authenticity of this declaration has been verified; otherwise, the entry details of the participants in the Contest shall be destroyed upon the lapse of three (3) months from the date of the draw. The transfer of personal data to third parties is prohibited, except to any persons who, acting upon instructions of the Organizer, perform tasks related to the awarding or delivery of prizes, following which such data are destroyed. In the event that the object of the contest involves the posting and publication of audio, visual (e.g., photographs), or audiovisual material (e.g., video) by the participant, the participant declares and warrants that they hold all rights over such material and have secured the consent of all persons whose voice and/or image has been incorporated into the respective material.
12. The legal basis for the aforementioned use of the participants' data is the consent of the participants, who possess the following rights in respect of the data they declare, which shall be retained as described above by the Organizer and the persons processing the data on its behalf: the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure (right to be forgotten), the right to restriction of processing, the right to object, the right to data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
13. Participation in any given Contest presumes the unreserved acceptance by the participants of the aforementioned terms of participation, and they do not have nor retain any claim against the Organizer or any third party connected with the conduct of the Contest.
14. These terms and any matter arising from their application shall be governed by Greek law. Any dispute regarding the Contest that may arise in the future shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens.
